With a lifelong passion for interior design and a deep-rooted love for community, I'm proud to bring nearly three decades of experience to every project I touch.
Born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa, I graduated from Drake University with a degree in Interior Design in 1984. Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to helping clients transform their spaces into stunning reflections of their personality, lifestyle, and purpose. For the past 29 years, I’ve had the joy of growing Imaginations Design Studio / Cheri Brichetto Designs, and for the last 21 years, we’ve proudly called 9379 Swanson Blvd, Suite B in Clive, Iowa our home.
Whether you're dreaming up a cozy home retreat or a polished commercial space, I offer personalized design solutions tailored to your unique style and needs. I work with a wide range of trusted, high-quality vendors and carry a curated selection of upper-end furniture lines. From timeless classics to bold contemporary looks, I love exploring every design style and color palette to make your space beautiful, functional, and uniquely yours.
Outside the studio, I’m passionate about giving back. I’ve been a volunteer coach for the Kiwanis Miracle League's Dodgers team for 15 years and a proud supporter of the Make-A-Wish Foundation for 28 years. I also served as a board member and volunteer for Furry Friends Refuge for over a decade.
At home, I enjoy life with my husband Joe DeGroat, our son Jake, our two cats Baylee and Riley (check out their cute faces below), and our wonderful stepchildren, Devin and Trevor.
